Dear/ importers of poultry meat, table eggs, products and equipment
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (2915) dated 16/12 / 1439, which referred to the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (74278 / AS) dated (6/12/1439), on the issuance of the decision of the Authority No. (73484 / s) and the date (2/12/1439) to impose a temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, table eggs, products and equipment from the Rostovskaya Oblast region of the Federal Republic of Russia due to the emergence of highly pathogenic avian influenza.
The only exception of the temporary ban on poultry meat, table eggs and their products is if thermally treated or in any way that can eliminate the avian influenza virus that to be in accordance with the requirements and health controls and standard specifications approved with the attaching of a certificate of health to prove that issued by the specialized authorities in the Republic of Russia.
